State-of-the-Art Research Facilities

The IGB is dedicated to advancing research in human health, agriculture, energy use and production, and the environment. Our facilities and services support that work.

Our Core Facilities house a microfabrication lab, a plant growth facility, and a microscopy suite.

The Carle/IGB Stem Cell Facility offers isolation and enrichment of low-frequency cell subpopulations.

Building Operations manages the day-to-day mechanical, space, grounds, and scheduling issues of the Institute.

The Business Office supports purchasing, appointments, proposals, visa processing, and other general business functions at the Institute.

The Communications Office provides marketing, media, and public relations support for the Institute.

The Computer and Network Resource Group facilitates computing and network issues for the Institute.

The Office of Technology Management works with researchers to manage and develop intellectual property protections, patents, and licenses.
