Alison Bell joins the IGB

Professor Alison Bell in the Department of Animal Biology has joined the Genomics of Neural and Behavioral Plasticity Research Theme.  The theme of Dr. Bell's research program is to understand the proximate and ultimate factors that shape correlated behavioral traits, or behavioral syndromes.

Kevin Finneran joins the IGB

Professor Kevin Finneran in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering has joined the Molecular Bioengineering of Biomass Conversion Research Theme.  His research focuses on anaerobic microbial ecology, emphasizing basic microbial physiology and its role in biodegradation and how it can be adapted for bioremediation strategies.

Eberhard Morgenroth joins the IGB

Professor Eberhard Morgenroth in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering has joined the Molecular Bioengineering of Biomass Conversion Research Theme as an affiliate member.  Dr. Morgenroth's research focuses on the influence of dynamic reactor operation on the performance of biological treatment processes.  The goal of his research is to develop mechanistically based models, which allow for predictions of biological treatment processes under transient conditions.
