Undergraduate Research Showcase

Undergraduate Research Showcase

The Undergraduate Research Showcase is a platform to share work completed by undergraduates working in IGB-affiliated laboratories. The event aims to host those currently involved and hoping to get involved with research, to build up undergraduate engagement in genomics research.

Who is eligible to present?

Can I attend if I am not yet involved in IGB Research?

Yes! Those who are looking to get involved in research are encouraged to attend. At the showcase, you will have the opportunity to learn about IGB research, ask questions about how to get involved, and network with a variety of laboratories and student researchers.

When does abstract submission open?

Abstract submission will open early in the Spring Semester.

When should I hear back about the abstract I submitted?

Abstract decisions are sent in March.

Are presenters eligible for awards?

Awards will be presented for Best Overall, Most Innovative, and Most Interdisciplinary Presentation. Winners will receive a small monetary award to be used toward their research projects.
